HIGH TEMPERATURE HEADS

HD-09 ATR

The high-temperature head fits directly onto the shaft of a standard ReactionView&trade probe, and provides cooling using a flow of either room-temperature or cooled gas (air or nitrogen). A 7.6 cm long ATR or transmission crystal inside the head carries the mid-IR signal to the end of the probe head. Three cooling options allow a maximum use temperature of 120 C, 220 C, or 300 C. If a high pressure crystal and seal is mounted in a high temperature head then the operating pressure can be increased from 5 bar to 30 bar. High temperature probe heads can also be used at low temperatures down to less than -100 C
